Republican National Committee & Trump 2020
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is the governing body of the Republican Party, shaping its platform, coordinating fundraising, and driving election strategy. In 2020, I worked as a graphic designer for the RNC’s digital department, integrated with the Trump Campaign in Arlington, Virginia. My role included designing top-performing fundraising materials, GOTV (Get Out The Vote) collateral, and social media graphics, contributing to $1.96 billion in fundraising during the cycle.
Throughout the 2020 presidential cycle, I produced over 3,000 static graphics, over 1,200 animations, and over 500 videos. Additionally, I designed SMS short-code banners and video thumbnails for YouTube Mastheads—high-visibility ads displayed on YouTube’s home feed—as part of a $2 million-per-day ad strategy. My work drove billions of impressions and was optimized using real-time performance data to maximize engagement.

YouTube Mastheads
I designed the masthead banner graphics featured alongside my video thumbnails on the YouTube homepage, ensuring text, CTAs, and disclaimers were visible and properly scaled for both mobile and desktop views. This was a standout achievement early in my career, as I optimized creatives in real-time and pioneered a “clickbait” style that had not been utilized in similar campaigns before.
The combination of sleek, polished graphics with attention-grabbing video thumbnails encouraged user interaction, driving viewers to complete CTAs, watch videos, or click on ads. This innovative approach successfully engaged every YouTube site visitor and delivered measurable results.
